Here comes the micro condo
I remember in the 90s I did the financing on what was then the 1st studio condo in the Back Bay to sell for $250K+. The appraisal was tough because there was nothing else like it (at the time) that could be used as a good comp. It was a very cute, completely remodeled, 500 sq ft studio with parking spot......now-a-days just the parking spot would sell for the $250K. :)
Here we are today and Boston now has these "micro condos" without parking. I'm very curious to see if this turns into a thing:
